Actress/Host Melissa Tan performs on-camera, in voice-overs and in print. Favorite projects include working with her son, Ethan Tan Hardy, on SPRINT's Unlimited Data campaign, and as a spokesperson for the corporate giants VISA and HP. Other rewarding moments include hosting INDUSTRY RSVP IN-DEPTH and PETCO’s How To Videos, traveling nationwide as a spokesperson with JAGUAR, and receiving a “BEST ACTRESS” award for her work as Beth on BALLBUSTERS at Indie Fest USA the year her son was born. Melissa’s stage work has been praised in: LA Weekly, Entertainment Today, In! Magazine, Tolucan Times, San Diego Union-Tribune, San Diego Reader, North County Reader, Back Stage West and other media.

Melissa feels it is a pleasure and her duty to contribute to positive change. She loves empowering others and volunteers in various community service. Favorite passion projects include creating Tales 4 Tails, where students read to shelter pets, improving their self-confidence and reading skills while socializing animals for adoption; and helping launch Silayan Filipina National Organization, a non-profit focused on community service, outreach and cultivating Filipino culture.

Melissa earned her 3rd degree taekwondo black belt along her journey as an endo warrior. Managing health challenges and finding relief through certified pure tested grade essential oils led her to become a dōTERRA Wellness Advocate. Being a part of improving friends’ physical and emotional wellbeing motivates her to teach and empower others about natural solutions that support everyday health concerns. She hopes to offer solace, empathy and hope to fellow endo warriors by sharing her essential oil and endo journey.

Melissa deeply appreciates the simple joys of life, especially quality time with friends and family. She is still obsessed with traveling; wanderlust has not faded, and visiting 2 more continents remain on her bucket list. She thrives on cheering Ethan on his martial arts & performing arts journey. Most cherished titles: wife and mother - the dream roles of her lifetime.
